Hi Thames03,
Regarding the marks: the B could be a malformed Dutch date letter for 1836, supposed to be in a circle, the flower like mark not Dutch, perhaps both marks are non Dutch or so called pseudo marks. The only mark I recognize is the Minerva head used 1814-1905. The identifying assay office letter is located in the top section of the helmet. However the Minerva head is only used in combination with both a standard hallmark, to indicate fineness, and a date letter. Please check your spoon for a small proper date letter and a standard mark. I believe the spoon is called a Birth spoon, the inscription refers to the happy ocation of the birth of J*C in 1896
Regards,
Oel
