Hi I have a silver teapot from Birmingham but the other 2 hallmarks are a mystery to me, one is the makers mark I can make out no letters, and the date mark seems to have a number 7 in it, could it be a Z.
Any help appreciated.
thanks
Derek

Birmingham 1958 from the date letter. Maker's mark is not that clear on my monitor - any chance of a clearer shot. Shape of shield and no. of letters reminds me of JB Chatterley & Sons (although that is just a guess)

Thanks Waylander, so was the 7 the date letter or was it a Z gone wrong?

Do you know where I can find a picture of JB chatterley & Sons makers mark so I can compare it with my one?

Yes thats the one, looked like random nonsense to me at first and then I saw your mark, I got a magnifier and my one is the same mark, thanks. Now I know more about my teapot and thats got to be a good thing.
