Lady's travelling dressing table set

Postby Indiechick » Sat Dec 09, 2006 10:02 am

I have recently discovered a lady's travelling dressing table set (c. Victorian?) with hallmarks, and would like to know it's year.

Contents:

Hand mirror
Two hairbrushes
Two clothes brushes
Tortoiseshell and silver comb

I think it originates from Birmingham...

(sorry, the close-up photo's slightly blurred)

It does come from Birmingham, and it was made in 1928.

The makers were the Daniel Manufacturing Company, who worked up unto 1939
