Hi everyone,

This is a londoner vinaigrette. I Think his maker would be Thomas Streetin and dated on 1827 (m). But I'd like to be sure. The alternative will be Thomas Shepherd and dated to 1787. What do you think about monarch portrait? George IV, isn't?

The date should be really easy to determine but your picture of the mark in the bottom of the case is not good enough to show whether the town mark is the crowned leopard's head which was in use in 1787 or the uncrowned leopard's head in use in 1827.

Finally, this post is not in its correct place. Because I could'nt see, as you, the picture with a apropiate dimension.
It's an artifact from Birmingham!
I've got the picture of the bottom of the case and his maker is Thomas Shaw (I think...) and the letter could be a "n" (1836)
Are you in agree??

That certainly looks like Birmingham 1836 and TS may very well be Thomas Shaw.
