can anybody tell me when the 925 hallmark was included (inside a balance) ?
this is an inkwell.. wondering what year it was made as well. thank you!

Hi,
The scale is common control mark;since 1972 the UK has been a signatory to the international convention on hallmarks,meaning UK Assay Offices can apply the common control mark.
Your inkwell was made in 1992 by M Kamin & Co Ltd.
