Makers Mark and Date Clarification on Birmingham Vinaigrette

Hello. This is my first post here and I'm after some clarification on this Vinaigrette. The date letter 'V' or 'v', which I have't been able to photograph very clearly, puts it at 1793 or 1819 The maker's mark is IB so I would say it was John Bettridge, however, the cartouche has straight edges, as opposed to the rounded one shown in Jackson's. Hopefully somebody can clarify these details for me.

Silversmiths often had more than one version of their mark; in fact, all the Bettridge marks I've seen have had straight sides.
I'm not completely sure of his working dates, but I'd say 1819 is more likely.
