Hi,

still trying to find my way around the hallmarks so could
someone please help with the following.

Pictures Below.
Would I be right in saying the date is 1815 or not?
Also can't make out the makers mark. Looks like MB or MR or LB
can't find anything to which it relates on the website.

The date is 1891.

As for the maker, the mark appears too worn to make an attribution and there were many makers turning out such items, too many to guess. However take a look through the seven pages of Birmingham makers here: http://www.925-1000.com/dlBirmingham.html#M
