Hi, im hoping someone can help me here. I have this silver cigarette case with the makers mark E.T. I think its possibly Edward Turnpenny but im not certain as this cigarette case is 1923 and he registered this mark mid 19th century. I wasnt able to find out if it was still being used in 1923. Another similar mark was that of Edward Thomason but his marks are even earlier. Also the letter G (or symbol ) on the thumb catch has thrown me. Anybody know what this is. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Originally the mark could have been CET for Charles Edwin Turner registered around 1898 and still in use in 1936.

Can't help you with the mark on the thumb piece.
