Help with a maker's mark, D F

Through the excellent resources of this website, I have been able to determine that my Sterling match holder is from Birmingham and was made in 1892. Is anyone able to help me identify the maker with the initials D F? Thank you for your help!

Might it be D & F (with the & being rubbed out)? If so, your maker is Deakin & Francis Ltd, a large scale producer / manufacturer.
