Need help for maker's mark

Hello all,

This is another of my lovely inkwells assayed in Birmingham in 1908.
The maker's marks are fairly rubbed but I tried to take the best picture.

First of all there is an oval containing BO or BC As I bought it from Canada, I was wondering whether it could be the mark for British Columbia.

Then there are 2 squares the first one is either E or B and the second is clearly an M Then it is the anchor for Birmingham, Lion passant and letter i

Could someone help me for the maker.
