Help required identifying makers mark

Postby silsella » Fri Feb 20, 2009 11:09 am

Hi, I have a Birmingham teapot dated 1908, with a makers mark O.L ? (possibly ltd). I would be grateful for any help in identifying the maker.

If it is O Ltd it will be Oldfields of Birmingham ..Best wishes, Mike.

Hi,

Agree with Mike, Oldfields Ltd. (Robert Charles Oldfield) is the likely candidate.

We will need a clearer photo of the maker's mark to be sure.
