Help Identify Maker

Hi Folks,

I have spent many hours searching and can't find an answer to who the maker of this open salt cellar might be. I've included a photo of the item and one of the marks. The makers mark reads "G.E.W" . I know that it is made in Birmingham, Sterling and it dates to 1905. I just can't find the maker!
Any help would be appreciated.

Your G.E.W. mark was used by G E Walton & Company Ltd. (George Edwin Walton).
