Please help identify an import mark? on 1933 Birmingham case

Postby orkney » Tue Nov 11, 2008 7:28 pm

Hi,

I would be grateful for any help in identifying this import mark ? on a 1933 Birmingham cigarette case by Deakin & Francis.

The marks, next to the Bham marks, consist of some sort of symbol, .925, & an 'S'.

I've been through the site & pocket Jackson's, but can't see anything similar

Kind Regards,
Douglas

Hello.

I think that's a Dublin import mark.

Hi,

Thank you for the info, I really appreciate your time & attention as this mark had me stumped.

I can now see that the 'S' is the Dublin date letter for 1934,

Many Thanks,

Douglas.
