HCFL Anchor Lion B ??? Help

These marks are on a brush and mirror set I found at an auction.
I have guessed this to be Birmingham Sterling circa 1774. I dont know the makers mark ??
Any Ideas?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your brush was assayed at Birmingham in 1926.
Try and post a clearer photo of the maker's mark.

Thanks for the info. I have a mirror with this brush and the makers mark is a little clearer. Hope this posts better.

PS can you work ou the date it was made from the marks. I was probably wrong with my calculation.

Thats Birmingham 1926 and the maker is Henry Charles Freeman Ltd.
