pendant makers mark

Good Morning,

Looking for any information on W & CO makers mark. My pendant is marked with W & CO in a rectangle. It has the lion for sterling, the anchor for Birmingham and a very fancy lower case "g" for the year 1881/1882. Checked the history of silversmith marks and it does appear in the listing but with no information. Any info on this makers mark would help me greatly in documenting the pendant for my family's history. Thank you so much for your help.
