Beehive Thimble - Maker C&CC?

I bought this neat ensemble at a fair this morning. The thimble is marked inside with a maker's mark C&CC. The assay marks are not clear but think I can make out the lion passant and (possibly) leopard's head marks.

Can anyone identify the maker C&CC?

The C&CC mark is for Clive & Clarissa Cooke. I am grateful to Lyn Mills at the London Assay Office who replied to my query within an hour. Probably late 1970s or 1980s.
