No, this is Thomas William Daniels, who registered a series of marks between 1883 and 1912. There is also a very similar mark for Thomas William Dobson registered on 22 March 1886 but which is noted as "defaced" on 1 April 1886, presumably when the Assay Office realised that it was the same as Daniels's. Daniels first registered as a small worker but in later registrations he is a stick mounter.
