Dutch Spoon 18e century

Post by ETH »

Hello,

I have a silver spoon with a hallmark TS and I think a standing lion. Can somebody tell me more about by who and when this spoon was made?

Hi,
I think it is British lion passant indicating sterling (.925) fineness.
Mid 18th century,probably London.

The Lion Passant appears to be of the 1740 - 1756 period .
