Tong maker

Post by Dtvready »

I've found a pair of tongs that seem new but, following the trail of hallmarks, seem to be older.

Links to two images are below and any help would be appreciated.

Trev: Thank you for the tutorial on proper use of the Forum. I'll do a better job next time.

AG2012: Thank you for reformatting my images, re-posting them, and deciphering the hallmarks.

I believe they came from my father's modest estate and I can only wonder how he acquired them in Winston-Salem, NC.

At least there is no longer any mystery as to their age, composition, and maker!

All the best to you and the Forum,

Greg
