I think that this is probably Grimwade's mark number 3901 in his "Unregistered Marks" section. This section includes marks which are not necessarily "unregistered", but which were most likely included in one of the lost / missing registers of Smallworkers (1739-1758) and Largeworkers (1758-1773). Grimwade attributes this mark as possibly that of William Tuite and notes it as having been seen with hallmarks from 1760, 1761, 1767 and 1772.
