looking for date mark on English menu holder

Hi, I have an antique menu holder. I know it's English sterling, but can't seem to locate the date. I've enclosed a photo and close-up. Any info would be helpful. thanks

Maker Samuel Jacob, London somewhere about 1900.
For some reason there is no date letter, he was working from 1892 - 1916, and made items like this.
