Date of a rat-tail serving spoon

Here is a nice Hanoverian, rat-tail serving spoon. I'm not sure of the date, it's either 1724 or 1746. By the style more likely 1724, but please tell me your choice. The maker's mark is unreadable.

From the photo I would be going for the 1724 option..largely because of the 'hairiness' of the leopards head. Best wishes, Mike.
