Hi,

The marks are quite worn, but I would hazard a guess at London 1891, the maker possibly Middleton Chapman.

Right. It really looks like ``Q`` for 1891. Not much to choose from within this background.
Middleton Chapman, London, made late Victorian silver top and cut glass scent bottles.

Middleton Chapman, born 29 Mar 1843, baptized 23 Apr 1843, St. Mary's, Islington, son of Oliver & Elizabeth Hannah Chapman. Married 13 Sep 1864, at St. Mary’s, Islington, to Elizabeth Noyes. His profession then - and in all subsequent censuses - was a dressing case maker. (Presumably his mark was as manufacturer of the silver mountings for the bottles and such in his cases.) He died on 21 Jan 1922, Claverley Park, Tunbridge Wells, Kentshire.
