Hello everyone, can you please have a look and help me identify the silversmith? I have a good handle on the other marks (date letter, lion, London) but just can't make out the maker. Thank you all in advance!

My suggestion would be William Lukin, this WL mark (if that's what it is) being entered 10 June 1725.

Hi Phil, thanks for your reply and suggestion. I looked up William Lukin in Grimwade and I can only see William Lukin I and he's Grimwade 1966, entered 31 July 1699, but his mark is different. Which reference book were you looking at? (or perhaps you have a Grimwade number). Cheers!

I'm also attaching smaller hallmark pictures right here as the moderator thought my original ones were too large and just added links - perhaps forum members would find it easier to just see the smaller photos here. Any help would be appreciated!

See Grimwade No 3220. This is the WL mark of William Lukin I entered 10 June 1725 following the return to sterling standard when everybody had to re-register using their firstname/surname initials.
