London 1759, silversmith NB?

Postby byronbay55 » Thu Jul 30, 2015 1:35 pm

Hi guys!

Can't find any "NB" silversmith in London 1759. Am I right or is it only bad research from my part?

It looks like NB to me too. Unfortunately there are 2 London goldsmiths' registers missing, that for smallworkers from 1739 to 1758 and the largeworkers' register covering 1758 to 1773. It is quite likely that NB's mark and details were recorded in the largeworkers' register.

I've just added the details to the Lost Registers topic:

Thanks for the help. Why don't we agree on that its Hester Bateman's unknown brother Nick Bateman, and that it is one of a kind object ;)
