RB Stamp on back of silver spoon.

Does anyone know what this stamp on this silver spoon is?

Your picture of the hallmark is nearly illegible but I am making an educated guess that it is a London mark with the date letter J (gothic) for 1844. This would lead to R·B being Richard Britton.
