Hi,

This 1772 scroll back Hanoverian spoon has me stumped re the maker, can anyone make out anything legible with this mark?

Regards,

Martin.

Hi Martin,

I would go for William Turner (Grimwade 3353), a known maker of picture back spoons.

His punch, chipped and worn out, lasted just long enough to see him out, he died in 1772.

Hi Trev,

I don't know how you do it, many thanks.
