John Wrenn I Spoon?

Postby bstaunto » Mon Jan 20, 2014 11:36 pm

Hi guys,

Here's a great second hand shop find! It was going to be and then she put it up to (admin edit :see forum rules) because it might be silver!

I haven't had much experience with London silver, so just looking for some confirmation.

It looks like a match for John Wrenn I, and due to the shield on the rubbed date letter, I would have said 1720s or 30s. Does this look right?

Any input would be great. Thanks.

I think you are correct. I see the date letter as either O for 1729 or c for 1738.
