Umbrella handle with an unknown maker K.S Ld

Here is a nice umbrella handle assayed in London 1922. The maker says, I think, K.S Ld; does anybody know this company?

Hi Miles...sory can't help on this one but the mark in the pic looks like it says R&SLd hwich would be R and S Limited. Hope someone knows. Best wishes, Mike.

Following the reply from dmay on another umbrella post, it is now clear to me that the mark is by Kendall and sons: a very famous umbrella manufacturer.
