British Hallmarks on Vinaigrette incomplete?

Postby boysilmet » Mon Dec 26, 2011 8:08 pm

I found this vinaigrette a few months ago and have been trying to identify it since. There are only three parts to the hallmark as opposed to 4 or 5. Anyone able to help me out with info on this piece?

Well it looks like London 1801/02, there should be a set of full marks on the lid which would tell you the maker, although to the left of the duty mark there does appear to be a "rubbed area"
