Ladle with London & Aberdeen hallmarks.

Hi, I have a soup ladle which has London hallmarks for 1843 by Haynes & Carter. Next to these there appearsto be another makers initials GJ and an Aberdeen town mark. Has anybody else come across similiarly marked items, could it be that the Aberdeen mark and initials were added by a retailer?
