TG on a pistol knife ?

TG on a pistol knife ?
I am unsure of the makers mark on this Pistol handled knife. I searched and the only mark that came close was Thomas Gorham. The lion passant is on the opposite side of the handle but no date marks. Any info would be appreciated. :)

Hi,
That looks like one of the marks used by Thomas Gilpin (Grimwade 2769).
An image of the Lion Passant mark may help with the period.
