Hi! Does anyone know the name of the pattern used on the below British sterling spoon, made in 1820 by William Chawner? (See below three images.)
Fraid I'm no expert on patterns but I believe this is known as a 'fiddle pattern'. No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong. Best wishes, Mike. .
"Fiddle" or "Fiddleback" style - I would not call it a pattern though, as it relates to the overall shape of the spoon c.f. the particular embellishments or designs of the spoon.
