Help me please identify the correct date of manufacture.

I have the wonderful sugar tongs made by William Cripps (Londan). But I hesitate in the date because I cant find the letter "h" in such cartouche as on my article. Help me please identify the correct date of manufacture.

The date is 1823.
WC for this date on tongs is usually attributed to William Chawner II, though there are so many WC makers that I never feel certain about it.

Thank you very much for your answer. I thought so too. But the letter “h” shown in the table is in other shield. it may be did exist alternative marks for this year?
