Mystery Mark - Norwegian?

Have owned several pieces (demi and salt spoons, also brooches/pins) with this mark over the years, feel sure that it's Norwegian, but have never had any luck IDing it. If memory serves, they have all been 925 fineness and all with very nice quality enamel work, would guess they probably date from around 1920s-60s. The mark appears on the mystery marks section of another site and is described as crossed hammers over eagle, and truthfully, sometimes I see that, sometimes it looks like hammers over an anvil, sometimes it just looks like a bug to me. The photo is of the best mark I could find from my set of 12 demitasse spoons, last pic is a little drawing. Anyone know this one?

Has me stumped, but I have to admit it strikes me as crossed hammers over a stake type anvil. What other forum is it on?

It's on Marbeth Schon's modernsilver.com, 2nd page of mystery marks, been there for years, some discussion but not really any clues for me. Hoping some of our European members might have an idea.

I emailed the mark to a major Norwegian silver expert I know and she should get back to me tonight sometime, hope she knows, if she doesn't I don't know who would.

She emailed me the mark and maker name from a book.
It reads C. Bergs Eftf., Oslo, 1920-1960.

The book this photo is of/from is called Norsk Bestikk, it's a Norwegian book on Norwegian Silver and Silver plate marks and patterns.

Wow, thank you so much! Please thank your friend for me also. Guess I did pretty well on the date range, too. (does looks like a stake anvil with crossed hammers, from the illustration)

The spoons are made by Clemet Berg in Oslo (1920-1960). I think ca. 1920-1925.

Thank you, 1920s would have been my guess on this particular set, it is one of my favorites, haven't run across any others like it.

You are so wellcome. The spoons are very beautifull - I have 4 of them too. And I know the book "Norsk bestikk", published this summer. It's about tableware in silver - silverplate - for children and enamel spoons.
