Georg Jensen GI mark

Post by syarn01 »

I have three piecest I think are all authenticate Georg Jensen cactus pattern, but the simple GI mark on the spoon and scoop are throwing me off. I can't find references to them online. The normal mark on the fork dates it to c1930 I understand. Does anyone know if the scoop and spoon are the same timeframe and definitely Georg Jensen? thanks
10.5cm coffee spoon
15.5cm two-tine date fork
17.5cm cheese scoop

Jensen used a wide variety of marks, there's no problem with your 'GI' marks - Gundolph Albertus designed 'Cactus' in 1930, suspect your pieces are likely early...
