Thank you for your replies,
The photos came out small.
I see, if you right click, and save the image address, then paste in your browser, the full size picture shows more detail.
What is the name of this utensil ? Ladle ? or ...
What is the approx. time of mfg. ?
Yes, it shows 13 1/2, so this states it is .844 fine ?
What does the 13 1/2 mean ?
Also what was this used for ?
Thank you in advance for your replies..
Appreciate very much ...

Re: Need help with mark and purity on this ladle ?
Loth is old silver standard; Loth in Austria and German area, luoti in Finland, lödig in Norway...
The standard for precious metals was based on the Cologne Mark, which was divided by 24 for gold (carats) and by 16 for silver (lot or loth).
Pure silver is 16 Loth.Accordingly, you can calculate:
16 = 100
13,5 (13 1/2) = x
+++++++
1350 = 16 x
x= 1350 /16
x = 84.375
Depending on the size, it looks like sauce laddle.
Trondheim rose mark as explained above.

Or you could just use the correct coding in the first place (hotlink code for forums). :))The photos came out small.
