Art nouveau napkin ring - probably Danish???

Post by dario93 »

Hello everyone,

I've got an art nouveau napkin ring of which I could not identify or ascribe its stamp. Not even sure whether it is solid silver or only silverplate. The stamp looks more like a maker's mark than a hallmark or assay office mark and I reckon it could be Danish.
Anyone here who has seen something similar? It's a beautiful piece so I would love to know where it comes from. Your help is much appreciated.

Two questions:

1. What makes you think it is Danish?
2. What makes you think the marks are silver marks?

Thanks for your reply.
This stamp looks similar to a Danish maker's mark I have seen some years ago but probably can't remember correctly. So it was a just a guess.
Also I am not sure whether it is silver or silver-plated. As I've said the stamp looks more like a maker's mark than a hallmark.
