Lund & Svendsen? Butter knife mark ...

Another of the Scandinavian silver pieces, this one marked clearly for W Svendsen ... but which Svendsen is this? Apologies that it's not a very crisp photo, but hopefully clear enough ....



I am familiar with Christiansen & Svendsen, and also Lund & Svendsen, but was there a Svendsen that went solo?

Is that not a Magnus Aase mark? If so, the presumably 'W. Svendsen' was the retailer?

Certainly a possibility. The photo wasn't very clear, but comparing it with another spoon in the set, the mark is the same, and is clearly the one for Magnus, although plate in this instance. Thank you again. This is the mark on that other spoon ...
