silver spoon looking for maker

Post by JuliaB »

I am looking to find out who the maker of this fork is. in other words, I am wondering if anyone can help identify (only) the bottom mark on this fork. Thank you so much.

I have seen a similar mark on pieces that had a retail hallmark of "Bloomingdale Brothers" ::: I wish I could be of more assistance, but all I know is that this hallmark is similar to pieces that were sold by "Bloomingdale Brothers" which I believe was a high-end retail store in Denmark. ::::

The spoon is made in Denmark 1942 and assayed by Johannes Siggaard. Silver fineness 830/1000. Unfortunately there are still a whole lot of unidentified makers in Denmark. I believe this is one of them, sorry. Let's hope somebody knows who the master is.
