Art Nouveau watch by N E From

Post by mamajudi »

I have acquired a ladies´vintage silver bracelet watch by Niels Erik From. It is marked Sterling 925S Danmark and has symbols of what look like a half-moon and, possibly, a stylised crown. I would like to know what these symbols mean as regards place (presumably Copenhagen) and date of manufacture. The watch is well-worn and seems to have been originally covered in black enamel. It is organic-looking and has a piece of gold decoration to the left of the face. Have looked on many websites showing his jewellery, but have been unable to find a single watch!
