[Help with identifying] Silver spoon

Postby Snickard » Tue Feb 04, 2014 1:57 pm

Hello, this is my second post and I have this other silver spoon I was wondering about, who might be the maker of it. I figured out it was swedish and I think the makers mark says "ILH" but I am not quite sure.

Thanks for reading!

I forgot to mention, the second picture is upside down if you are trying to read the marks.

Good Day,

They appear to read JLH in rectangle, three crowns for Sweden, S for silver standard, possible city mark (Stockholm?), Z8 for 1950. Have not identified this makers mark, there was one previous discussion on this forum for a J.L.H., image no longer available. Found a similar unidentified example. There was one other mark that showed a J with elongated L, then H in an oval.

Perhaps a more experienced member might fill us in.

Warren
