Hi Steve,

I believe that it is by Nicolai Monclair of Bergen, 1849.

I dont have acces to my Bergen book, so this from memory.
Chistern Hoff active 1821 to 1860 as wardein
4 over M is April

I must say - it a butifull beaker, I envy you.

Confirmed, Nicolai Martin Monclair, born in Bergen, Norway 1805, master 1832 married with Elisabeth Margarethe Meyer. Alderman 1856-1857, dead 1892. Hose and Trev. are absolutely right about the rest.
