Please help ID silver spoon?

Postby debsherenowtoo » Tue Mar 07, 2006 4:39 pm

I posted this on the american forum, but have since been told that this spoon maybe Norweigian. It is 5 1/2" long.
The back is marked P.J.P830 S. It is very pliable and would bend easily. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Definitely Scandinavian 830/1000 silver, most likely Norwegian, maker will probably be difficult to track down. Most likely dates from late 19th century to well into the early 20th century.

Hi
The spoon is made by Peter Johannes Peersen in Flekkefjord, Norway after 1892. I can't get up your photos.
regards Tosten
