Hi
Help needed
German or Danish I suppose. Who is the maker? And under what period was the firm active?

Hi,

In my opinion the spoon is Danish and made about 1800. The reason why I think so is the double-stricken maker's mark CI. I can't find a perfect match, the incuse on the right side of the mark is a bit annoying.

I would suggest Casper Johannsen in Tønder, born in 1740, master in 1781. He died in 1826.

I am not at all sure about the maker, but the spoon is either Danish or Norwegian.

Hope this helps,

Best regards/JAKJO

I J or why not B

But still I cannot find any. Iam also sure it is Danish. But have in mind only 50% of danish marks are found, identified and registret.
