Enamel cigarette case

Post by madej »

Hello.
Unfortunately, the silversmith hallmark is not very readable, but does anyone recognize the silversmith anyway?Even if I wanted to look, I don't have access to literature at the moment.
The assayer is Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin from Moscow.
Regards

Pure guesses, but I reckon I see ЯЛ in the kokoshnik. That would be Jakov Lyapunov in St. Petersburg 1899-1904. It matches with the kokoshnik 1899-1908 for the year 1899. The maker's mark is morу difficult. It could be AH or АИ .or or.... but but but ????
Clean the marks and use a good magnifier and try again. Indeed difficult, pure guessings....

Clean the marks as suggested and use the highest magnification to identify maker`s initials; are there two or three letters ?

Hi. Qrt.S
Hi. AG2012
As for the assayer, it is definitely Ivan Lebedkin, now you can see it better. The silversmith mark is still not clearly visible, but i see there are three letters.

Hi.
Im writing again because it bothers me. In PL , I do not see any mark of silver from that period with three letters where the first is C. They do not mention anything in other sources?
