A minor problem, there is no assaying mark on this lighter....strange! What might that mean? Anyway, made in Riga in Latvia by Ivans Masalskis (IM) 1883-1889.

Yes in Cyrillic and Russian, but mine is how the name is written in Latvian. They use mostly Latin letters.
