Hi niceguy1 -

How can you put such meaninless photos in a forum. If you do not have sharp photos - do not ask!
Could be Odessa - unknown maker....

Goldstein

HI GOLDSTEIN

Many thanks for the information. Are Don & Donskoj the same? i don't see the place mentioned anywhere on the forum, is silver from there scarce?

What Donskoj??? The Greek letter kappa stands for Odessa. Unfortunately there quite a lot of to name unknown Odessa masters as you probably have noted from a few recent threads.

@Goldstein
Yes, I know better. Your problem is that you are unfamiliar with the Greek alphabet.
There is a difference between the Greek letters kappa and chi. Odessa's sign is kappa (K) and Don administration uses chi (X). Both the spoon and the fork shows a clear kappa. Take a new look at the kokshnik.

@Goldstein
You claim the kokshnik here is "Donskoj". I claim that is is Odessa nothing else. Never seen a Don administration ("Donskoj") kokshnik.
