Hello, what do you think about this hallmark Malcz from Warsaw . Are not they particularly blurred?

HI,
The marks (Malcz and anchor) look OK to me. On the other hand, the absence of Russian assay was discussed here.

Hi AG2012
Thanks.
However, you do not think that hallmark is specifically blown to be less visible. Malcz is the best Polish silversmith in XIXth,and his hallmark are often fake.
Besides, the anchor seems to me not as it should be.

Hi -

The sugar tongs are authentic (maker unknown) - the Malcz marks are later added and incomplete! Fake!

Malcz had a very distinct style and quality! The silver marking laws in Poland were in all times unequivocally! With some diligence and interest you can get this informations!
