The maker's initials are МГ (Latin MG) He is Matvey Grechushnikov, active in Moscow 1818-1846. The year on the hallmark is a bit unclear. The assayer MK is Mihail Karpinsky assaying 1800-1824. The town mark again was used 1825-1829.
What is a bit disturbing is that the year mark looks very much like 1828 ??? If the year mark really is 1828 it would indicate that Karpinsky assayed longer than to 1824. That would be new information, but ???
Let's wait for other opinions.
